Jamboree On The Air will be held on Sat 15 / Sun 16 Oct to celebrate over 100 yrs of Scouting.
A group of local Hams will be operating a station, callsign GB2RSC and M0RSC to enable Scouts and Cubs to communicate with other Scouts and Cubs around the world. Info is also available on QRZ.com.
We will be operating on 80m to 10m, 2m, and 70cm in modes SSB, FM, and DATA (PSK31, RTTY). M0RSC will be used on EchoLink.
We expect to have three stations on the air at any one time depending on propagation,
80/40m -
QSL cards will be via bearu, direct and eQSL
QSL managers G0THF, G8CGZ.
We look forward to seeing many Guides, Brownies and their friends, and not forgetting the Leaders and Helpers.
GOLF BRAVO TWO RADIO SCOUTS CHESTERFIELD
The weekend was well attended by a large numbers of Girl Guides, Scouts, and Brownes.
Local Radio Hams started to setup the stations and antennas at 07:30.
We managed to operate HF 80/40/30/20 and on VHF 2m so many people were able to pass messages to stations around the world.
76 stations were contacted (worked) during the weekend.

Two Amateurs stayed overnight to keep an eye on the equipment.
What a surprise when we woke at 07:00 on Sunday morning.
